Yes. The app will be free to download and use, with no ads and no hidden costs. We may introduce optional premium features in the future (such as advanced QR customization) that require a one-time purchase or a subscription. The core scanning and generation features will always remain free.
Yes. Once installed, QR Code App works fully offline. Scanning codes, generating codes, and saving them all happen on your device without any internet connection. The only exceptions are the initial installation from Google Play and the optional address autocomplete feature (which queries OpenStreetMap only if you use the Location QR type).
Everything stays on your device. Your scans, saved QR codes, and settings are stored locally in the app's private storage. We don't operate any servers, don't collect any data, and never see anything you scan or create.
No. There's no sign-up, no login, and no email required. You can start using the app immediately after installation.
Currently 12 types: WiFi, URL, phone number, SMS, email, WhatsApp, location, calendar event, contact (vCard), PayPal, plain text, and SEPA invoice (EPC standard for European bank payments).
QR codes, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, ITF, Codabar, Data Matrix, PDF417, and Aztec. The exact formats available depend on your phone's native scanner support, which handles nearly all formats in common use.

The scanner requires camera access, which is better suited to the mobile app. The website focuses on generation — you can create any of the 12 QR types right in your browser, then download the result as PNG. For scanning, use the mobile app.
Open the app's saved codes list, swipe left on any code (or tap the menu icon), and choose Delete. To remove all data at once, uninstall the app — everything will be deleted automatically from your device.
No ads. No analytics. No tracking. The app doesn't collect usage statistics, doesn't send telemetry, and doesn't include any third-party SDK that would compromise your privacy.
13 languages: English, German, Romanian, French, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Slovak, Serbian, Croatian, Dutch, Norwegian, and Danish. The app detects your country automatically and uses the appropriate language. You can change it manually at any time from the app's settings.
Yes. The QR codes are static — they encode the data you provide at creation time. They don't expire, don't require an internet connection, and don't depend on any external service. If you want to change the data, you'll need to create a new QR code.
